One of our Travel Advisors, Diana, recently returned from her stay at Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina in Saint Lucia. This was Diana’s first time visiting St. Lucia, and the Capella staff made her feel extremely welcomed from the moment she landed. It was evident the Capella staff had been carefully chosen, and trained for excellence. Even the drivers that transferred her to and from the airport were extremely knowledgeable and courteous.
Capella Margot Bay is a unique property due to its location in the Marina
Village. Guests have access to ample water sports, sailing charters, shops and
dining outlets all along this protected bay. The resort has been designed so
that each room and venue takes advantage of the spectacular bay views. When
Diana walked out through her spacious suite to the private balcony, she was
taken aback by the stunning view of the waterfall infinity pool with the bay
just beyond it.
This property is all about being on the water and the marina. While there is
a small beach accessible by a 4-minute ferry ride, most guests are
there to relax by the pool and enjoy the buzz of the marina. Marigot Bay’s calm
and protected waters attracts sailors and yachts from around the world making
for a lively environment and great conversations at the bar. If guests are not
on the water or at the marina they are sure to be at one of the resort’s fantastic
pools. Diana spent most of her time at the larger one, which has a swim-up bar
and impeccable cabana service.
The resort's tropical location allows for a variety of activities ranging from snorkeling and scuba diving, to zip lining and hiking through the rain forest. If these soft adventure activities aren’t your cup of tea, follow Diana’s lead. After a relaxing day spent by the pool, she headed to the resort’s luxury spa, Auriga, which is located by the water surrounded by tropical foliage. The massage and facial she received was the best she has ever had. Diana described the entire experience as “habit-forming,” because she would love to go there every day if she could.

You know you’ve truly enjoyed your stay when your only complaint is that the trip had to come to an end! Diana thoroughly enjoyed her stay at the Capella St. Lucia and would go back in a heartbeat.
