Becky's Relaxing Getaway to the Bayan Tree Cabo Marques

Becky, one of our Travel Advisors, had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the stunning Bayan Tree Cabo Marques in Acapulco. This resort is a tropical paradise of breathtaking sunsets, luxurious villa accommodations, and beautiful views of Puerto Marques Bay. It’s an ideal location for jet-setters, couples seeking a romantic escape, and anyone looking for an enjoyable and pampering getaway.

This fabulous property is comprised entirely of villa accommodations each with a private pool. Becky stayed in a Bay-View villa, which had stunning panoramic views of the Bay both during the day and at night as the lights from town danced on the water. Upon arrival, Becky entered into her villa to see beautifully lit candles leading the way to her bath tub, which had rose petals floating on top of the water. This grand arrival is just one example of the exceptional service and attention to detail offered by the Banyan Tree staff. All the villas on property are nestled into the hillside, giving each a unique view. Becky took a yacht cruise and was able to see the villas from a different perspective. 

The Cabo Marques’ wide variety of on-site dining options offers something to delight every guest’s palate. Becky enjoyed live local music her first night while eating a delicious dinner outside at La Nao, which offers modern world cuisine influenced by Latin and Oriental cultures. The second night, she headed to Las Rocas Grill & Bar, located in an intimate nook of the resort with a beautiful backdrop of the Puerto Marques. She reveled in the soothing sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks as she ate savory sea bass with fresh vegetables and rice.

One of Becky’s favorite parts of the resort was the luxurious spa which offers an array of treatments for an incredible and relaxing experience. Becky unwound with a 60-minute Indian massage during which the talented masseuse used palm strokes to ease aches and tension while promoting blood circulation. Naturally extracted sesame oil was used for its warming and purifying properties to calm the senses and further enhance Becky's massage experience.

Banyan Tree Cabo Marques offers guests access to their private beach club with complimentary shuttle service. Just ten minute away, Becky enjoyed the resort facilities there both days. Not only is this beach exclusive to Banyan Tree guests, but food and beverage service is provided. Guests don’t have to worry about bringing a credit card or cash because they can easily charge purchases back to their room. For guests looking to take a quick break from the sun, Cabo Marques offers comfortable shaded poolside cabanas and an indoor gym and library as well. We could tell Becky enjoyed her time soaking up the sun because she had a beautiful bronze glow when she returned to the office.
