Janet Hardin in Austria

Travel Advisor Janet Hardin just got back from exploring gorgeous Austria with her fun host Mary Gallo of Starwood Hotels. She stayed at and toured a number of Luxury Collection Hotels and made some special and fun memories. In Salzburg she was spoiled at the historic Hotel Goldener Hirsch, a beautiful and authentic property in the heart of old town. She also spent a couple nights in Vienna at the gorgeous Hotel Bristol which lies just across from the Vienna State Opera. While she did not overnight here, Janet got a full site inspection of the Hotel Imperial, a grand and opulent palace turned hotel that stays true to 19th Century Vienna décor yet with all the modern amenities and services of today.

Highlights of the trip for Janet include touring the sites from the Sound of Music, both locations where the movie was filmed and an original home of the true von Trapp family, and attending an Officers Ball in Vienna. All the travel advisors got dressed in their finest and took waltz lessons before dancing the night away at the ball. Janet is picture here with the other advisors and Starwood Rep.
